Braukmann pressure reducing valves

For a drinking water installation to be used reliably and comfortably in a way that conserves resources, it must be operated at a water pressure suitable for the system. Water supply companies focus on the local development customs and topography with regards to water supply pressure.
That can mean that pressure up to 10 bar – even more in exceptional cases – can exist in the supply network. Excessive water pressure can cause damage to household installations and is also a cause of "loud" installations and uneconomical operation. Comfort also falls by the wayside if the system and its users are faced with constantly changing operating pressure.
